This update comes from James Oyugi, CRF’s field administrator:
“Many days ago there was agony in Kenya. People were running up and down, some dodging the policemen while others dodging the thugs and robbers. This came as a result of election violence since December 27th. God showed us the way. He talked to every Kenyan because for sure we voted for change and voted peaceful and wanted the transition to be peaceful.

We were happy that God used our friends to help the needy children, the displaced people and gave food to our starving colleagues. We are thankful to Christian Relief Fund for the good work they did in ensuring that they joined Kenyans in their unrest through prayers and giving. The money sent bought food that brought hope to many hopeless people and through that we were able to have some people added to the church. On behalf of Kitale, Eldoret, Mombasa, Malindi and Kisumu, regions, we are grateful for your concern and our wish is that you may live to have the good heart of spreading your help to the entire continent.”
"Kenya,
which has long been a stable and peaceful country, today is in turmoil with
innocent men, women and children being hounded and killed,"
The HIV/AIDS epidemic continues to march across the globe, with more deaths and more infections this year than ever before, according to the latest U.N. report.
