On July 1, a team of 23 people will be traveling together to Kenya, Africa to work on projects and encourage the churches in Eldoret and Kisumu. 17 members will be traveling from Amarillo, Texas and 6 will be coming from Seattle, Washington. Among the 23 will be the President of Christian Relief Fund, 2 board members and 1 Christian Relief Fund staff member. Their travels will include building desks, painting school buildings, community feeding, teaching a VBS for the students of 2 schools, community bible teaching and a visit to the newly launched Jones and Ring Road Community Health Project and VCT Project. 3 members of the Seattle team will be conducting microfinance workshops for potential clients as they grow the newly founded microfinance program that was started in Eldoret and Kisumu. 7 members will be breaking off and visiting Mombasa and Malindi as well to audit the CRF sponsorship programs. The entire team will return to the States on July 15th and 16th.
